The name of the theatre POST-Vog' comes from the French VOGUE (fashion) and means AFTER fashion. The term POST-509 consists of in the meaning of time, location, and the fasting period in Russia (when religious people keep abstinence), and 509, which stands for the number of the region.
The theatre develops towards the synthesis of different genres. Fashion, dance, plastic improvisation, vogue-dance, performance and video-art. Beginning with 2001 the synthesis-theatre Post-Vog' has been based on the Regional Students Artwork Centre ROSTOK.
